California Hotel & Lodging Association Board Chair Appointed to Nationally Represent California Lodging Industry
SACRAMENTO, CA – California Hotel & Lodging Association Board Chair, Bimal Patel, CHA and partner with Concept Hotel Group in Menlo Park, has been appointed to the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) Government Affairs Committee. This is Bimal Patel’s second National board appoint this year, as he was appointed the American Hotel & Lodging Associations (AH&LA) Board of Directors in February.
Bimal Patel oversees an ever-expanding portfolio of service-oriented boutique and branded hotels in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been in multiple volunteer leadership positions in the industry for over a decade. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hospitality & Restaurant Foundation and was previously an Ambassador for the Asian American Hotel Owners Association.

AAHOA’s Government Affairs Committee identifies and cultivates relationships with local, state, and federal government agencies, to promote the needs and concerns of AAHOA members. They also assist with identifying legislative initiatives that support AAHOA's goals and work to strengthen their Political Action Committee. Tarun S. Patel, CHA, President of Pacific Hospitality Company and long-time CH&LA member, has also been appointed to the Committee.
