New Wage and Salary Survey for California Hoteliers

The newly completed CH&LA Compensation Survey includes information from over 300 participants representing nine areas and 30 specific sub-markets for 37 key management, salaried, and hourly jobs.  Results are reported statewide as well, providing you with timely data on hiring rates and average compensation in the most comprehensive survey for the California lodging industry.

CH&LA has partnered with WageWatch, Inc., the leading Web-based compensation and benefits survey company, to conduct this statewide survey of the hotel industry.  We are pleased to have been involved with WageWatch from the first design step so our members can benefit from both the type of information that WageWatch will provide as well as the ease of participating in the survey and obtaining the results.

The CH&LA Compensation Survey is available to participating members for only $50 and to non-participating members for a fee of $150.  The survey is also available to non-members for $300 for each copy.

How to Participate

Participating is easy, simply click on the 'start survey' button to access a downloadable file of instructions and data input forms. You will have three ways to submit data: by mail, by fax, or by e-mail. The deadline for data entry is July 31st. You can order an advance copy of the CH&LA Compensation Survey by clicking here.
