10 Most Critical Policies Every Hotelier Should have in their Employee Handbook

As hoteliers it is always a challenge to stay compliant with, and ahead over, California’s many employment laws. One of the keys to maintaining compliance with California’s employment laws is to distribute a company handbook that carefully outlines various policies and procedures.  In our webinar we will identify the 10 most important personnel policies that need to make it in your company handbook. For example, with the upcoming paid sick time law which is going to go into effect on July 1, 2015, all California employers need to ensure they have a “sick time” policy that complies with this new law. Additionally, there are other policies such as meal and break and unpaid leave laws that need to be anchor policies in any employee handbook. The first step to compliance to many of these laws is having a well drafted policy that is provided to the employees.  Our webinar will explore this topic and there will be a period of time for Q&A to follow.
