Enforcement of the Employer “Play or Pay” Mandate has been pushed to 2015.  However, the remainder of Healthcare Reform continues on with many aspects taking effect, as planned, in 2014.  While some questions still remain, many of the details that will impact employers in 2014 and beyond have been addressed in the regulatory guidance. Sheldon Blumling is a partner in the Irvine office of Fisher & Phillips and chair of the firm's Employee Practice Group.
