Jim Abrams is the past President & CEO of the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA). He retired in 2008 after 17 years. In his capacity as President & CEO of the CH&LA, Mr. Abrams was responsible for, among other things, management of the Association’s legislative and regulatory affairs programs. He has also represented numerous owners and operators of hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast inns of all types and sizes on a wide variety of legal, governmental, and operational issues. He is a frequent speaker and writer on all aspects of the law relating to the lodging industry.
