During this webinar you will learn how your organization can take advantage of tens of millions of dollars in rebates currently available through the SoCalWaterSmart program, sponsored by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. You’ll also learn about a major region wide media campaign launching in July to increase awareness of the impact of the California drought and steps residential and business customers can take to save water. Commercial rebates available to CH&LA members cover a wide range of water efficient landscaping and select indoor water efficiency measures including, but not limited to: efficient landscaping and indoor water efficiency measures.

Maureen Erbeznik – Principal, Maureen Erbeznik & Associates
Maureen owns and operates a Southern California consulting firm specializing in program design, implementation and marketing services for water and energy efficiency programs. She has been a leader in California’s water efficiency initiatives for the past 25 years, and has designed and implemented over 40 major residential and commercial water and energy programs. She has been involved in some the most innovative multi-agency residential, commercial and industrial water efficiency programs in California.
Gary Tilkian – Resource Specialist, Metropolitan Water District
Gary is a Resource Specialist with the Metropolitan Water District. During his 19 years at Metropolitan, he has worked on State Water Project issues focusing on the San Francisco Bay-Sacramento Delta region, local – Southern California – water resources and currently manages Metropolitan’s commercial and residential Regional Water Conservation Rebate Program, SoCal Water$mart. Gary received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from UC Berkeley with an emphasis on Physical Geography and Natural Resources. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Geography from UCLA.
