Southern California Hotel & Lodging Conference & Trade Show
On August 2nd, hoteliers joined CH&LA and AAHOA for the best and biggest hospitality conference and trade show in Southern California. This one-day of education, industry trade show and networking was free to all hotel staff. Each year over 500 hoteliers attend this special event to get educated on a variety of industry topics and to attend the trade show to see and buy the latest new products and services.
This past event's education sessions included technology sessions on email, ADA Website Tips and how instant communications with your guests should be an important component of your digital marketing plan. There were also many legal and operations sessions on Revenue Management, Wage & Hour Update and What You Should Expect from a Management Company. Attendees learned best practices for communicating with guests, tips for finding hidden revenue and gaining ideas on how to compete in the market today in one of our service focused sessions.
Of course, there was the usual abundance of networking opportunities, a free lunch and discounts on products and services at the trade show. There was also a reception in the trade show at 4:30 with appetizers, soft drinks, no host bar and lots of networking. We hope to see you at next year's conference!
