On Tuesday evening, March 5th, CH&LA hosted a Women In Lodging and Leadership Reception at the Sacramento Convention Center. CH&LA was honored to have Assembly Member Marie Waldron as the guest speaker, who provided inspiring insight into her vision for the 2013 legislative session. She also expressed her commitment to protecting small business and promoting the tourism and travel industry through her work as Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism and Internet Media. After her presentation, Assembly Member Waldron stayed to answer questions, which provided a unique opportunity for attendees to interact personally with an elected official.
