Jessica Counts

Jessica joined CH&LA as the Event Coordinator in April 2014. She will handle CH&LA’s vendor members, event coordination and monthly member’s only webinars, just to name a few duties. She has a Liberal Arts degree from American River College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications & Public Relations from California State University, Stanislaus.  Jessica has marketing and event management experience from her internships for Bodega Del Sur Winery, where she managed their Summer Music Series, and managed the new Farmers Market Exhibit for the Stanislaus County Fair. She is very passionate about event coordinating and being involved within the community for charitable events such as the Banana Festival, various 5k runs like Run to Feed The Hungry, as well as getting involved with stopea.org (Stop Elderly Abuse) to help protect the elderly community and their families.

Personal mission statement:  The true mark of a champion is how hard they work when no one is watching.

Favorite place to vacation:  Anywhere warm and tropical like Maui with a Quest Bar in my hand!

One thing most people don’t know about you: At American River College I placed 8th in the state for my triple jump event in Track & Field, made the all-time top ten list for my high jump and triple jump relay, and beat my high schools high jump event record.
