Taylor Collison

Taylor was born and raised in the greater Sacramento area. She attended California State University, Sacramento where she earned a B.A in communication studies, developed a concentration in rhetoric, and minored in government. Prior to CH&LA, Taylor worked in the California State Legislature for Assemblymembers Waldron and Voepel. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys reading (especially historical fiction) and hopes to one day publish her own novel. She travels regularly within the state and looks forward to expanding her trips nationally and internationally. Although she does not have any children, Taylor has a cat named Harley who knows how to play fetch.

Favorite place to vacation: So far, Kauai. I’ve only been once, but I haven’t seen anything like it since.

One thing most people don’t know about you: Outdoorsy stuff with my friends and family.

Some of your favorite hobbies: My first career goal, at age 3, was to be a “rina” (ballerina).
